Millionaire Program

The reasearch is clear. More reading translates to better readers. There is a significant correlation between the amount of time children spend reading and improved measurements of comprehension, vocabulary, and reading speed.

Based on this research, we have our children in grades K-5 read one million words per year. Once they have reached this goal individually, their pictures are placed on our Wall of Fame! They also receive a certificate and a "FISHY" hat because "Nothing is Fishy about a School of Millionaires!"

Once we reach our school-wide goal of 100% Millionaires our principal, Mrs. Collins, will kiss a lobster!

We want to crawl our way to 100% participation!
